Antonio McKee turned professional in 1999, before the UFC had a division for his weight, and spent the next two decades fighting anyone who would sign: 38 bouts across the UFC, the IFL's Tokyo Sabres, DREAM in Japan, the World Series of Fighting and Bellator, and a world title with the Maximum Fighting Championship in 2009.
While still competing he opened Team Bodyshop in Lakewood, a no-contract gym that became one of the most respected fight camps in Southern California. His son A.J. McKee came up through that room and went on to win the Bellator featherweight world championship; Aaron Pico, Joey Davis and a long list of amateur and professional fighters were built there too. Quinton “Rampage” Jackson and Tyron Woodley have both trained under Antonio.
CFC brings that method to Cerritos with a purpose-built facility: a competition cage, a full mat room, a heavy-bag row and a strength zone under one roof. The rule that made Bodyshop work is the rule here — everyone in the building is coached to the same standard, whether it's their first class or their fight week.

The method
Discipline. Strength. Respect.
Discipline
Show up, warm up, drill the boring thing again. The habit is the skill.
Strength
Technique wins fights; strength lets you use it in round three. We build both.
Respect
For the room, for your partners, for the people who were here before you. Ego stays at the door.
The facility
Built for work.

Competition cage
Regulation-size cage for MMA classes, situational rounds and fight-camp work.
Mat room
Full-size wrestling and jiu-jitsu mats, cleaned after every session.
Heavy-bag row
Bags and pad stations for kickboxing, so nobody shares a bag.
Strength zone
Racks, platforms, sleds and ropes for fight-specific conditioning.
Recovery corner
Space to stretch, breathe and reset between sessions.
Check-in & pro shop
Front desk, member check-in, gear and CFC apparel.
