Questions
Membership FAQ.
Is there a long-term contract?
No. All Access and Founding memberships are month to month. You can cancel at any time in the same way you signed up — in person, by email or online — and your membership ends at the close of the current billing period.
What is a founding rate?
A founding rate is the monthly price offered to members who join before the grand opening. As long as your membership stays active and in good standing, that rate does not increase.
Can I try a class before I join?
Yes. Your first class is free. Claim it on the contact page, and a coach will confirm a time and tell you what to bring.
Do I need experience or equipment?
No experience is needed for any All Access class. For your first class, comfortable athletic clothes and a water bottle are enough; loaner gloves and shin guards are available. Each program page lists the gear you'll eventually want.
How does the Fight Team work?
Fight Team is by invitation or tryout and includes competition coaching, camps and cornering. It isn't sold as a subscription; members are invited from the floor by the coaching staff.
What if I get injured, move, or can't use the gym?
California law lets you cancel a health-studio contract if you become disabled, pass away, or move more than 25 miles from the facility. We honor those rights in full and describe them in the Cancellation & Refund Policy.
Can I freeze my membership?
Yes. Memberships can be frozen for a minimum of one month and up to three months per year for travel, injury or work. Ask at the front desk or email us.
Are youth memberships different?
Youth memberships (ages 6–17) require a parent or guardian to sign the registration and waiver. Youth classes never include head contact, and sparring is limited to controlled, coach-supervised drills.
