You can cancel at any time, for any reason, with no cancellation fee. Cancel the same way you signed up — in person at the front desk, by email, or online through your member account once it is available. Your membership and billing end at the close of the current billing period, and you can keep training until then.

We will confirm every cancellation in writing within two business days. If you do not receive a confirmation, contact us — the cancellation still counts from the date you sent it.

You may cancel any new membership agreement by delivering or mailing written notice to the gym by midnight of the fifth business day after you sign it, and receive a full refund of everything you paid (Civil Code §1812.85). Agreements with larger total payments carry longer periods — 20 days for $1,500–$2,000, 30 days for $2,001–$2,500 and 45 days above $2,500. Refunds under this section are paid within 10 business days.

Founding memberships signed before opening state the planned opening date. If the facility is not open within six months of your signing date, you may cancel and receive a full refund. Once we open, you also have 10 days from the actual opening date to cancel for a full refund (Civil Code §1812.87).

Under Civil Code §1812.89 you may cancel with a pro-rated refund of any prepaid amounts if:

• you become disabled and are unable to use the facility (we may ask for a physician's confirmation);
• you die — your estate may cancel and is entitled to a refund of prepaid, unused amounts;
• you move more than 25 miles from the facility and cannot transfer to a comparable gym. A cancellation fee of up to $100 (or $50 if more than half of the membership term has elapsed) may apply; we do not charge it on month-to-month memberships.

You may also cancel with a pro-rated refund if the facility closes, relocates more than 10 miles, or materially changes the services offered.

Month-to-month memberships renew automatically each month until you cancel. Before you sign, we show you the price, billing frequency, and how to cancel, and we ask for your express consent. You will receive a written confirmation with those terms, an annual reminder that includes the cancellation method, and at least 30 days' notice of any price change — at which point you can cancel before it takes effect.

You can freeze a membership for one to three months in any 12-month period for injury, travel or work. Billing pauses during a freeze, and your founding rate is preserved.

Refunds are returned to the original payment method within 10 business days of an approved cancellation. Pro-rated refunds are calculated by the day from the date we receive your notice.

No CFC membership agreement runs longer than one year, and no agreement requires more than $4,400 in total payments — well inside California's three-year and $4,400 limits (Civil Code §§1812.86, 1812.91).
